Walk at Hucking from the Hook and Hatchet pub car park on
Sunday 24th March 2019.

On Sunday 24th March 2019, we will be walking at Hucking.  If you are interested in joining us, we will meet in the pub, car park at 10:15 am and move off at 10:30 am sharp.

The walk will take in open fields, bridleways, woodland paths on the Hucking Estate which is open to the public and as usual it is your responsibility to have your dog under control at all times and on lead in areas where there are or maybe livestock.

Suitable footwear is advised as the ground can be uneven and muddy in places.
Walking will be for up to 2 hrs which could be too much for puppies or older dogs so there will be an option part way round to take a shorter route back. The walk is not suitable for the younger puppies, only join the walk if you know your dogs are able.

The pub will be open by the end of the walk and allows well behaved dogs. It also does food, details of which can be found on the pub’s website www.hookandhatchetpub.co.uk

Directions: Hucking is signposted, on the left when travelling along the A249 heading towards Maidstone between the Stockbury roundabout and Detling.

Follow the road signs and you will find the pub whose postcode is ME17 1QT. www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.2972096,0.6317865,1775m/data=!3m1!1e3?hl=en

If you due to bad weather or other circumstances we have to cancel the walk a note to that effect will be placed on both our website and Facebook page by 8:30 of the day of the walk. Please check before you set out.

Note: There will also be training available at Stockbury on the 24th March for those who do not wish to go on the walk.
